The New Yorker: Dreams/Goals
For my issue of the New Yorker my concept is going to be Dreams and Goals. This meaning that everything that is going into this magazine will have to do with just those two things. This topic links back to every chapter we have studied this past year. For example in The Help Skeeter had a dream of creating a world with equal rights, for all people. In Of Mice and Men both Lennie and George had a dream of buying a cottage and being care-takers for bunny rabbits. These dreams that each one of these characters had helped them to persevere throughout their lives, even when times got tough. I believe that the things that are created and invented, that eventually change the world we all live in, are started from one dream and one goal, one single man or women had. One never knows what will happen unless they take that leap of faith, that is exactly what this whole year is revolved around; what do people need in order to live a fulfilling life? In my eyes the answer to this question is DREAMS!
